PRODUCT

Immunity Fuel is manufactured in Australia. All ingredients are Certified Organic and none of them have been genetically engineered.

Immunity Fuel is made using a traditional natural fermentation process. Certified organic whole food ingredients are combined with our unique Mother Culture and fermented for approximately three weeks. During this time, beneficial bacteria and yeasts naturally ferment the ingredients, creating a living fermented probiotic superfood with naturally occurring probiotics and pre-digested nutrients.

We use only high-quality ingredients, with certified organic sourcing as a priority. Most ingredients are sourced from Australia, and where an ingredient cannot be sourced locally, we carefully select trusted international suppliers who meet our strict quality standards. All ingredients are non-GMO and free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.

Yes all the whole foods are certified organic, the only ingredient that is not certified is the omni-minerals. The certifying body is the Organic Food Chain, Australia.

No. Immunity Fuel is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration. The beneficial bacteria used in Immunity Fuel have been selected for their stability and have been shown to withstand temperatures of up to 55°C for up to one week, so refrigeration isn't needed to keep the probiotics alive.

Once opened, you can store Immunity Fuel in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly sealed. If you prefer, you may also refrigerate it to help protect the quality of the whole food ingredients, although this is not essential.

The shelf life of Immunity Fuel is 2 years.

Both formulas are made using the same traditional fermentation process and contain the same live probiotics, beneficial yeasts and Bacillus coagulans. The difference is simply the blend of certified organic whole food ingredients used.

Our Original Formula contains fermented organic grains and whole foods, while our Gluten Free Formula has been specially formulated without gluten-containing ingredients and is independently tested to ensure it meets strict gluten-free standards, making it suitable for people with coeliac disease and those avoiding gluten.

You can compare the full ingredient lists and nutritional information here.

Every batch of Immunity Fuel is independently tested to ensure high numbers of active colony forming units (CFU) per gram. Due to the natural fermentation process, every batch will contain a slightly different CFU count per gram.

Unlike many probiotics that simply blend bacteria into a finished product, Immunity Fuel is naturally fermented using our unique Mother Culture. This traditional fermentation process cultures a broad spectrum of beneficial bacteria and yeasts throughout the whole food ingredients, creating a naturally fermented probiotic superfood.

To complement this traditional fermentation, we also add Bacillus coagulans, a resilient, spore-forming probiotic that is naturally better equipped to survive the journey through stomach acid and reach the intestines, where probiotics are intended to work. Its exceptional stability also helps maintain potency throughout the product's shelf life.

Most healthy people tolerate probiotics well and experience no significant side effects. However, when first introducing a probiotic, some people may notice mild digestive changes such as gas, bloating or more frequent bowel movements as the gut adjusts. These symptoms are usually temporary and often settle within a few days.

If you're new to probiotics or have a sensitive digestive system, starting with a smaller serving and gradually increasing to the recommended amount may help minimise any initial discomfort.

Immunity Fuel is an organic whole food with billions of live organisms present. If you are taking medication and have any concerns please consult with your health professional.

Everyone is different, so there isn't a single answer to this question. Your experience will depend on factors such as your current diet, lifestyle and overall gut health.

Some people notice changes within a few days, while for others it may take several weeks of consistent use. You may notice improvements in digestive comfort or simply feel that your body is functioning better overall, while some people don't notice obvious changes at all.

Immunity Fuel is designed to provide a daily source of live probiotics, naturally fermented whole foods and beneficial nutrients to support your gut health as part of a healthy, balanced diet. Consistency is important, as the gut microbiome is influenced by your daily habits, including the foods you eat.

DIRECTIONS

Immunity Fuel is easy to add to your daily routine. Mix it with water or juice, blend it into a smoothie, stir it through yoghurt, or sprinkle it over your favourite breakfast.

Avoid adding Immunity Fuel to hot foods or drinks, as high temperatures may affect the live bacteria.

There’s no need to take Immunity Fuel at a particular time of day. Morning or night is fine, so choose a time that works best for you and makes it easy to include in your daily routine. Consistency is more important than timing.

Immunity Fuel can be taken before, with or after food, so choose whatever works best with your daily routine. The most important thing is to take it consistently.

You can mix the powder into cool or room-temperature food and drinks, but avoid adding it to hot foods or beverages, as high temperatures may affect the live bacteria.

Not necessarily. Prebiotics are compounds, often certain types of dietary fibre, that provide a food source for beneficial bacteria in the gut.

Immunity Fuel contains fermented whole food ingredients along with naturally occurring prebiotics, so you don't need to take a separate prebiotic supplement when taking Immunity Fuel.

You can also support your gut bacteria by eating a varied diet rich in plant-based whole foods and fibre.

Antibiotics are designed to treat bacterial infections, but they can also affect some of the beneficial bacteria that naturally live in your gut. For this reason, many people choose to take a probiotic during and after a course of antibiotics to help support a healthy gut microbiome.

If you're taking Immunity Fuel alongside antibiotics, it's generally best to take them at different times of the day, leaving at least a couple of hours between your antibiotic and probiotic. You can also continue taking Immunity Fuel after your course of antibiotics as part of your regular daily routine.

Always follow the instructions for your prescribed medication, and if you're unsure about taking probiotics alongside a particular antibiotic, check with your doctor or pharmacist.

As individual circumstances can vary, we recommend checking with your doctor, midwife or healthcare professional before introducing any new supplement or probiotic while breastfeeding, particularly if you have an existing health condition or are taking medication.

Immunity Fuel is made from certified organic whole food ingredients and contains live probiotics, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Probiotics are commonly consumed during pregnancy, and there is growing research into their use during this time.

However, pregnancy is individual, so we recommend checking with your midwife, doctor or healthcare professional before introducing any new supplement or probiotic while pregnant, particularly if you have any existing health conditions or are taking medication.

Many people with diverticulitis choose to include probiotics as part of their daily routine. If probiotics have been recommended for you, Immunity Fuel can be incorporated into a healthy, balanced diet.

Immunity Fuel is a certified organic wholefood supplement designed to support overall digestive wellness and general gut health. While it is not a medicine or a treatment for acid reflux or GERD, many people find that introducing live bacteria helps maintain their daily digestive comfort.

  • Promotes Microbiome Balance: Our multi-strain formula populates the gut with beneficial bacteria. This helps maintain a balanced internal environment and supports the natural breakdown of food.
  • Daily Digestive Maintenance: The bio-fermented whole foods work alongside your body to assist regular digestive processes, helping you process nutrients efficiently.
  • Bioavailable Nutrition: Because it is a raw, whole-food powder rather than a synthetic pill, it delivers gentle, easily absorbed nourishment to support your overall wellness.

How to Introduce It: If you have a highly sensitive digestive system, we suggest letting your body adjust slowly. Start with just 1/4 teaspoon per day for the first week, and gradually increase to the standard serving size. To protect the live bacteria, always mix the powder into cool or room-temperature liquids rather than hot drinks.

This is a common question. Although Immunity Fuel contains beneficial yeasts produced during the natural fermentation process, these are different from Candida albicans, the yeast commonly associated with Candida overgrowth.

Beneficial yeasts, such as Saccharomyces boulardii, have been studied for their role in supporting a healthy gut microbiome and helping maintain a balanced intestinal environment. They are not the same organism as Candida albicans and are not known to promote Candida overgrowth.

If you have persistent or recurring Candida symptoms, it's important to seek advice from your healthcare professional, as dietary changes and appropriate medical treatment may be required. You can also read our blog, "10 Tips to Support Candida Naturally", for general information on supporting gut health.

Immunity Fuel contains some ingredients that would ordinarily be considered higher FODMAP foods, including chickpeas and lentils. However, these ingredients undergo our three-week fermentation process, during which microorganisms break down and transform components of the whole foods.

Fermentation can reduce certain FODMAP carbohydrates, but because the finished Immunity Fuel formulas have not been specifically tested for their FODMAP content, we don't claim that they are low FODMAP.

If you're following a strict low FODMAP diet, particularly during the elimination phase, we recommend checking with your dietitian or healthcare professional before introducing Immunity Fuel. Individual tolerance can vary, so if you have been advised that fermented foods are appropriate for you, you may prefer to start with a small amount and gradually increase as tolerated.

Immunity Fuel is a Certified Organic food product, and therefore must be packaged in new, food grade packaging that passes food safety and organic certification guidelines.

The packaging we use for each individual unit is plastic #2 - HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). Products made of HDPE are reusable and recyclable. HDPE #2 is one of the only types of plastics now accepted for kerbside recycling in NZ.  HDPE plastic is very hard-wearing and does not break down under exposure to sunlight or extremes of heating or freezing, so is perfect for keeping our food products safe. Unlike more transparent forms of plastic, HDPE is opaque and more resistant to heat and is BPA free.

We ship all orders using compostable bags or boxes.
